Levels of Support
Since every student is unique, it takes an individual approach to provide them with the social, academic, career and life skills they need. Our Levels of Support do just that.
We expand on real life goals
such as the completion of a degree, building a career, developing a social network and learning life skills to live independently. Students receive unparalleled supports in the areas they need.
All students are assessed into one of four levels, depending on their competencies and readiness. Then, depending on the students interests and pathways, the best available services in the level are applied.
While some students may benefit from staying at a level of support for more than one year, other students move to less structured levels as they acquire the skills and competencies necessary. Each student’s movement is determined by their individual progress.
What does this mean for the student?
- Truly individualized services
- Focused, specialized services
- Lower costs
Continuum of Support
It is an important time when a student transitions to a college dorm, lives more independently, pursues his/her career, or starts a work study. Our continuum levels are an extension of our Levels of Support. Students who are capable have the option of retaining key supports they need while living off-campus and transitioning into the commmunity.
